As a mental health clinics with Utah Behavior Services I can speak to the amazing impact UTBS has on our clients and our staff. I started here at an 18 year old, and ten years later I am a mental health clinican! Through UTBS support of my career I have accomplished my dreams. On the client end of things, we strive to provide our clients with the best clinical quality care we can. Our team is regularly trained on the most up to date information, and we have the belief to meet people where th...

So, my son went there for a while a couple of years ago. There was a lot of staff turn over. So when he had a good provider it was good. But the main people he was with were aids with minimal experience in child development. It wasn't terrible but compared to what he has now through granite school district with an IEP is a night and day difference. Also it's public so it's free. He now has a team with a special education teacher, OT and ST that work together and focus on sensory regulation....

I’ve been on the wait list for medication management. Someone from the office left a voicemail which was extremely hard to understand - 1. Must have been using the speaker on their phone and 2. Extremely fast, luckily my phone has voice text. The woman called to let me know my name had come up on their list and that they would be taking my name OFF of their list and if I was still interested to call back. I called back less than 5 minutes later. I’ve left one voicemail and tried to call agai...

For the first year or so, everything was great. The APRN I was seeing was wonderful, extremely helpful, and caring. Then the issues began with the billing department. They were continually billing the insurance incorrectly. Going so far as to switch my wife to "cash pay" without notifying us, while still having our insurance on file. It took them over 9 months to get us a finalized bill, which is still incorrect. Recently most of the providers have left the company and if their management st...

Very frustrated with our experience with UTBS. We liked our provider and only had to see her periodically for medication maintenance. After about a month of trying to get a refill request approved, we now have been told that apparently our provider no longer works there. We were not informed of this until we called many times, were denied an appointment with no explanation, and then finally had a supervisor be semi-straight with us (still very unclear what is actually going on; it felt like t...

I will start off by saying my therapist, who no longer works here, was amazing. I loved working with her. Unfortunately the office staff was the worst. Trying to figure out billing was a nightmare. The left me on hold for 45 minutes waiting to speak with someone while the ladies there were just sitting and gossiping. I never received cancelation emails when my appointment were requested to be canceled by my provider. And calling the office in general was like pulling teeth. Once I called back...

I was only able to have my first session here because the man they assigned me to was leaving the practice. Then, I had to wait on their waiting list for several months before being reassigned to someone who told me he would get back with me about which door to use. Overall poor experience. I didn't receive the call back.

I have been going to UTBS for about 7 months now and love the people who I see. Stephanie is my therapist and she is understanding and helpful of my past and my mental health. She listens and cares in regards of what I talk about and my beliefs. My quality of life has gotten significantly better since seeing her. As for med management, I see Megan and she too is super helpful. She has helped me get my diagnoses in order and has put me on the proper medications that I need in order to feel hap...
