I wish all VA employees were like Eric Downholtson in Behavioral Health.( I hope I spelled his name correctly). This guy is simply the best. If everyone at the VA treated veterans the way he does we would have the best health care in the world. He is kind, considerate and treats you like you are valued and important. He goes above and beyond to make sure that your situation is taken care of.

Bravo Team 1/12/24, organized a plan and made my day... to be continued. Best to get injured on Friday cause everyone is alert and happy because they have weekend off.

Where I receive ALL my medical treatment and complete health & wellness services. Thank you great job for taking care of my health related needs. Wilmington has made alot updates to its facility over the years.

This VA hospital is sadly the worst hospital I've been to. During the intake, the nurse Reagan lacks compassion. They downplay your symptoms. When you endure trauma, the last thing a veteran needs is being confronted with a nurse who orders you left and right. When you're in pain, the nurse is more concerned about having her questions answered than treating you. After a few visits with her, multiple repetitive questions about my family history, I was left without a solution, so I went to a ci...

Director Beiler was more than helpful and kind enough to reach out after my visit to make sure everything was okay. The VA claims official I am currently working with (Mrs/Ms Curtis) is awesome. Also, Dianne Bowen and the ladies in the benefits office were great.

My Dad goes to this hospital, and he ALWAYS has to beg and plead for medical attention. It took him 6 months to get a procedure scheduled, then they cancelled the week before with no explanation nor a new date. Horrible customer service. You would think they’d treat our Veterans better. Definitely going to escalate this complaint to higher powers.

First rate hospital. Every one I had contacted were very professional, helpful and friendly. All the doctors and nurses knew what needed to be done for me. The food service was great. I have never been treated as well as I was here. I have praise for everyone here at the WILMINGTON VA HOSPITAL. I wish I could give everyone a great big hug for the treatment I received. I wish I had the words to accurately describe how I was taken care of. THANK YOU EVERYONE.
