We had a family member go through the Walker Center treatment program. The staff is genuine, kind and caring. The program was very well done. All levels of the staff were fantastic and their attitude and support for the clients through their treatment program. Everything was top-notch. Great cafeteria, very nice rooms and facility. But most importantly, the program works. It is a program that saves lives and helps people learn how to rebuild their life.

The walker center saved my life. The counselors and staff really do care about you and take a huge interest in your recovery. The programing here at the walker center is incredible. I’ve learned so many skills to keep me safe and sober. One of many good things about the walker center is the relapse prevention skills they teach you before you leave here. I was lucky enough to get a bed and do the program at The Walker Center. I am now sober, going to meetings and I've been blessed to get my life and my family back. I can't express my gratitude to the counselors and staff at this amazing place. Thank you so much! If you're looking to get your life back, I highly recommend this fine resource.

16 years ago today, July 7, 2007. I walked through the doors of the Walker Center. I did go on my own choosing, not forced or pushed by friends and family. I deal with chronic neck pain and couldn't correctly deal with opioids. My life was falling apart about to lose my family and mind. With their help and my determination I am still clean today. It hasn't been an easy road by no means! These people taught me the tools to deal with my addiction. I read through other reviews and the ne...

its interesting- some have bad experiences some good- mine was exceptional- i did have a very lazy unprofessional counselor but took away so much cant remember his name been 9 years ago but he'd sit in his office with his door closed- all the other counselors always had there door open when it was open he was flirting with another counselor- it was really bizarre but addicts are strange people and a challenge to employ and manage the food was great the other counselors wonderful and employ...

My experience at the Walker center was phenomenal! The program is extremely well put together and thorough and the staff are passionate about their work. This was my first time in treatment and I now have the tools I need to live a sober life. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would 100%!!

I went to the walker center in December 2020 and the place saved my life! Even though I left 13 days before my graduation because my relationship was falling apart I still stayed clean! I’m coming up on my three years right now and I really hope Tessa hears that I kept clean and I made it! The program is intense and your emotionally overloaded a lot but the staff really care and push you! I really hate myself for never graduating and leaving for a girl! I’m married to someone else now and I h...

I have worked for The Walker Center for 2 years. I see the magic in the walls on a daily basis and get to hear about all the wonderful things our clients accomplish as they go through their recovery process. The environment is so supportive and encouraging. 10/10 would recommend for employment and/or recovery needs.
