And the food is terrible !!! I am just honest not hating though this place helped me get my life back on track. Besides the counseling staff, no other staff members their have a CLUE what their doing.

When I worked at SCI as an Art therapist, I saw the dedication and skill of the counselors up close and was impressed with the amount and diversity of treatment modalities offered by St Cristopher’s Inn. In private practice for over 10 years, I still refer clients without hesitation.

Finding my spiritual freedom from self and substances
The time spent there was unlike any other shelter. The environment is spiritual and a breaking away of chains.

It was a great experience. I wasn't ready to get sober at the time, but it lead me in the right direction. Much tougher regimen than other places I had been. The brothers are a hard group, but sympathetic. I was desperate, having put myself in detox/treatment 22 times in 26 months. So don't give up. If you want it, it will come. (If you're not prepared to do at least 90 days, this is not a place you'll want to go to, but a place you'll *need* to go to.) I worked in the bookstore. Working made...

The food was excellent. The accomodations were dorm homeless shelter type. (No privacy.)

Went in 2001 been sober ever since. Out of the many places I went to this one was where I got it. Their tough love long term program was the best of the best there’s no candy coating going on there. If you are tired of living the life of drug abuse I highly recommend St Christopher’s inn. I still try to go back in the summertime for their annual picnic. Love that place and I owe them everything. God bless!

If you like being physically threatened and/or attacked by entitled mandated punks... This is a place for you.
This was a great place at 1 time but now it's all about money. It's very important that you don't miss any groups or even be late because if you're late or you don't show up they don't get paid.
The Almighty dollar.... Everything else is conversation
