Not great, I’m sure the therapists are good but I haven’t had the chance to meet with one. I had an intake a month ago and there has been no communication or follow up since. They did not communicate how long the wait after intake was, complete radio silence since my intake. Additionally the follow up call that I made was sent to voice mail and ignored.

I’ve been a patient at Persad for a year now and have had a wonderful experience. I see both a therapist and a psychiatrist for my generalized anxiety and panic disorder. Everyone I have dealt with has been warm and compassionate. My therapist Kathy has changed my life and I will be forever grateful!

I have the utmost respect for the staff and mental health therapists here. They are knowledgeable, patient, and empathetic to anyone who walks through their doors. They also have a wonderful pantry that the public can donate to for those in need. Their clinical admin manager, Tammie, has such a welcoming, warm voice and makes you feel like you matter.

Horrible option if they’re going to be your main line of ongoing support. I was kept dangling on a thread being told someone would reach out to me to make an appointment for over 6 months in total and then dropped from “active patient” status after nobody reached out to me. Made several phone calls left several voicemails to “re-enroll” and got no response. Individual therapists there are lovely but the management is horrendous to the point where I think it could be very debilitating for some...

Been 2 weeks since intake, left 3 voicemails, and I'm still waiting for a therapist.. (Update). Finally got ahold of someone and I should be getting a therapist 2 weeks from now. Reception should be mindful to not just transfer inquiries to voicemail, but to connect clients to someone who's available at the time.

I was seriously afraid for my grandsons life. He lost both his parents 9 months apart and at the same time he was realizing that he was in fact identifying as female. He starting taking advice from horrible people and we truly almost lost him to those people. We finally were recommended persad. It took a little while to get in but it was worth it. The therapist is amazing and has done wonders. I have new hope that my now granddaughter is going to get the help she needs to live the life she w...

We need more caring hands like this for our people in need. Mental health has never gone away and I am so happy that it’s becoming more accepted so we can focus on making it better by adding more resources to our community. This is exactly was Persad aims to do!
