My daughter was admitted to Palms Behavioral Health & I had to take her out. My daughter was traumatized despite only being there for 2 days. On her first day, Monday, she witnessed fights and other patients having drugs and getting high, my daughter had never been around an environment like this before and was extremely terrified. On Tuesday they had visitations later that evening so I was able to see my daughter with her god mother. My daughter said she had panic attacks all day on Tuesday ...

This place was a complete waste of time. They are suppose to have protocols to only allow the patient the ability to call from the approved contact list. They completely just allow the patients to dial for themselves and not verify who they are talking too. Our daughter was allowed to contact her boyfriend which is the root of all the issues we are going through and her mental health issues. I specifically ask this question because when she called home it was her that called directly. At othe...

If I could, I would put minus stars... not the docs, therapists very good, nurses ok, except the one Marco... and at least one of the TECS...OMG... that short, big woman too much makeup. I can't remember her name, never aware of what she was doing behind my back. She hated me for nothing. Maybe because I'm white, I suffered severe discrimination. She didn't want me to go out when Dr. Signed my papers, and she and marco were planning something. I heard them discussing losing their licenses if...

I checked myself in back in June. While I am grateful my stay was covered 100% since I had no insurance, the experience wasn’t great. Some of the stuff was nice but some of the techs who watched over us were kind of rude, and often ignored us. I was put into a room with an individual who would smear feces in the restroom, causing the entire room to smell horrible and housekeeping would take a whole day to come clean it and it took 2 or 3 days to get me switched to another room. The first day ...

So, I wanted to inform you all that I just got released yesterday from there and I went through my personal belongings and found out $30 is missing. Very disappointed in you all. I also stayed too long and was supposed to leave back to Corpus sooner than yesterday. Got told something for touching my tomato in the lunch line I believe because it was “unsanitary” but anyways I would like something to be done about it because I am not going to let this go. And I only gave y’all two stars because...

I went here in September last year and I would go back without a doubt. The bad reviews just don't make sense. The staff was constantly helping and showing care. I was in the teen group as an outpatient and the staff worked tirelessly to help me get better even when I made it kind of difficult. The staff made all the kids and I feel welcomed and even adjusted to different kids needs and behavior. All the staff I knew showed genuine care. Even the front desk receptionist were really nice and l...

Don't not go here , I went in voluntary and the voluntary right states I can leave when you want and they didn't not want to release me nor tell me why. I requested documentation why I was still there never given documentation , if you go here request for your patient right document and if your family here knows their rights because , this was a nightmare for me ! Please everyone know your patient right before going here
