I was there for 9 months, I procrastinated and didn't comply with the program so most of the time being there was a waste. The staff was great no a single bad one. Even though I didn't comply with the program I matured and my behaviors are way better than before.

I went here in 2018-2019 for 9 months and 17 days. The trauma this place gave me still haunts me. I was 16 when I went. I’m 21 now. I’m hopefully getting a therapist soon to work through the abuse, gaslighting, neglect and unethical treatment northstar did to me.

My son was there for a month, they ruined his life. Did not change his medication then one of the staff members antagonized him until he lost his temper and is now possibly facing charges and no other treatment facility will take him. I have been fighting them since February to get his belongings back, they finally came today, not my son’s things! Avoid this place and their Anchorage facility at all cost!

One of the staff stole my bag and my bike helmet during a search I’m pretty sure it was the cleaning lady when I asked for it back they said they didn’t have it

There is hardly any thing written about this place. No pictures nothing substantial. I'm curious as to why?
