1 star just for the doctor I had. Dr. Datta was amazing and most of the nurses and staff members were as well. The facility itself was disgusting, and needs updated/remodeled asap. I did not get any toiletries when I arrived and had to ask for things such as a toothbrush. There was a lack of staff members available at times so you were required to sit in your room and stare at the walls for hours. They did not know how to properly handle the more severe patients. I did not get any toiletries when I arrived and had to ask for things such as a toothbrush. There was a lack of staff members available at times so you were required to sit in your room and stare at the walls for hours. They did not know how to properly handle the more severe patients. They would not allow one of the patients who had an accident on herself to shower because it was not the designated "shower time". They only have 1 working shower for every patient to use. The beds were tiny and uncomfortable and they give you a thin tiny blanket. The facility was freezing the whole time I was there but apparently the week prior it was scolding hot. There is so much I could say about this place in a negative way but I will leave it at that. Do not go to this place if you are looking for mental help because it will just add on to it. They do nothing to actually try to help you. I talked to the psychiatrist twice and the second time was just to get discharged. I sat in my room or colored the whole time and could have done that in the comfort of my own home.

I got put in here for suicidal ideation in the past. My insurance paid $27k dollars for me to spend seven days coloring, eating cold sandwiches, and taking small amounts of celexa. They also played movies (Girl, Interrupted was shown and it triggered literally everyone). This place honestly shouldn't be operating. We got literally no care. We were detained until they arbitrarily deemed us ready to go home and secured us appointments with their providers (which somehow took days to schedule). ...

I got choked by another patient while minding my business and I was given absolutely no trauma care for it. They didn't even let me out after it happened. I spent two more days in the unit with my assailant, who choked me with no provocation while I was coloring. The most I got was an apology from the staff. I was also afraid to advocate for myself because I didn't want them to extend my detention. Any bad behavior was punished, including minor disagreements over care plans. There was a woman on the ward who had been there for weeks because she was struggling with being away from her young children. This place is an absolute joke. People don't admit to being ill because we punish them with places like this when they do.

Basically there is no groups there is no therapy, the same meals over and over again. Instead of teaching us coping skills they tell us to read or color like that will solve our suicidal ideation. And I was denied seeing my doctor over four times. I would consider this the worst mental hospital in the state

This is the worst medical facility I have ever been to. They do not inform their patients of anything and do not give them results unless the patient themselves calls. I do not know when the results come in so you should call your patients back and tell them. I also was just informed that my doctor no longer works with this facility because she moved and that I should have got a letter in the mail. I also was just informed that my doctor no longer works with this facility because she moved and that I should have got a letter in the mail. I in fact did not get a letter in the mail and neither did half of her patients, the nurse told me that people are calling to check on appointments and are surprised when they are told their doctor left. This is very unfair and I had no warning whatsoever so now I have to wait a month or longer to even get into a new doctor’s office when I have medical problems that need to be addressed sooner. I would not recommend anyone to go here unless they want to die.

It is with considerable concern that I must articulate the numerous deficiencies observed at this establishment, which, in my view, render its operation questionable:
1. The operational hours displayed on their signage do not accurately reflect reality, leading to confusion and inconvenience.
2. Contrary to expectations for a facility of its nature, there is an absence of a physician on-site during overnight hours in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a critical shortfall in patient care.

3. Despite the representation on their website indicating availability of cafeteria services, my personal experience, necessitated by a family member's ICU stay, revealed that the cafeteria does not open for breakfast, dinner, or, it appears, even lunch.
4. A complete failure of all five vending machines on the premises compounds the lack of available nourishment options, further inconveniencing patients and visitors alike.
5. The facility purports to offer a wide range of necessary services; however, the reality starkly contradicts these claims.
6. Alarmingly, the institution has lost its contract for providing dialysis services, a critical healthcare provision for patients with renal failure.
7. The staff, potentially due to overwork, exhibits a demeanor that ranges from inattentive to outright rude, with a notable lack of compassion. Furthermore, the communication provided by staff members is often misleading and vague, exacerbating the stress and confusion for families in crisis.
8. The waiting area is markedly neglected, evidenced by the absence of functioning light bulbs in the lamps, contributing to a disheartening atmosphere.
9. Overall, the level of care available is profoundly inadequate, failing to meet the basic standards one would expect of a healthcare institution.
Such a constellation of issues is deeply troubling, reflecting not just on the quality of care, but also on the governance and operational standards of the facility. It behooves the management to undertake immediate and comprehensive measures to address these failings, in the interest of patient care and safety.

I went to them for help, for suicidal thoughts and intentions. They put me in IOP and told me it would only cost me my copay (25 dollars a visit).
Turns out they never spoke to my insurance and got approval. So now I have a 4000 dollar bill because I looked for medical help from Gateway.
I barely have enough money to pay the bills I have.

Horrible House supervisors STELLA and SARAH. So rude. Shocked but not surprised given its Granite.
Dr. Edwards cancelled a procedure (a colonoscopy) 10 minutes before we were leaving the house bc she “couldn’t get out of her driveway due to weather” yet the hospital staff had to be there but the doctor can’t? Weird. For someone whose in LIVER FAILURE to have to go through the prep of a colonoscopy just to be dismissed and tossed to the side is alarming. DO BETTER.
