YWCA Northeast Indiana is an organization that works to empower women and bring equal access to treatment for primary healthcare and behavioral health needs. Their addiction treatment program is meant to address the needs of women over the age of 18 who suffer from drug abuse or alcohol addiction. Services are comprehensive and include medication assistance, spiritual wellness, art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, meditation, motivational interviewing, nutritional guidance, music therapy, recovery coaching, 12-step programs, therapeutic fitness, and yoga. Though each program is customized to the individual client, it follows three phases. The first phase focuses on building a supportive foundation upon which the client can build their entire recovery. This includes learning DBT skills and utilizing therapy to pinpoint underlying causes or conditions that need to be addressed. Phase two is where clients will work to modify behaviors and learn new coping techniques or habits. The final phase allows clients to piece everything together, develop relapse prevention skills, and prepare for the completion of this 90-day program.

Was escaping a domestic violence situation and was treated absolutely terribly by residents and staff on numerous occasions. Wasn’t allowed out for the night on Xmas eve to see my friend, and had been threatened by someone and had a man break in. Not safe and the food is not only repetitive but they barely cater to people’s dietary needs such as mushroom allergies and dairy allergies. When asked if the food had mushrooms I was told “I don’t know gotta figure it out i guess” I’d rather not go ...

They failed to help a single mother in need. I will never donate or refer to them again. This establishment is a waste of time, money and resources.

Im on the addictions side, there's this side and a side for victims of domestic violence. I love it here, but coming from treatment and jail, I'm grateful and humbled. How you look at the YWCA depends on where you're coming from and what your experience is. I cant share photos because of HIPPA and protecting the identity of the women here.

This place is a joke cause you have people bringing drugs in there and you have staff members getting involved with patients in there!

Newer facility built in 2017 to help local women in need of shelter and services. Thankful we have caring people and places like this in FW!

I've been connected to the Bureau for over a year now and could not be happier with the quality of services provided to women with addictions, survivors of rape and sexual assault, and now underprivileged women in the community in need of interview attire for jobs. So proud to be a part of this organization!

I'm grateful for the opportunity that the YWCA is giving my family so we can stay together.
