She was genuine ,kind and compassionate .Nurse Victoria I won’t ever forget, she was understanding and sweet, and made me realize no matter what I go through I am not alone.Counselor Tonya helped me learn my triggers for anxiety, tools on how to calm myself down and has a genuine love of what she does and helping people.Doc Brent was a great doctor and really listened the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because at last minute they end up switching my doctor, and I don’t truly believe of one of diagnosis is being accurate as he only spoke for me for 5 minutes and I don’t agree that I have 5-6 symptoms in the Dsm5 for one of the diagnosis he gave me at all,I should of spoken up but truly I had alittle anxiety of the length of my stay and wanted to go home , I would of been labeled a watermelon if it would of let me go home after week. The places is good place to go for help, but sometimes being in that environment with all types of people can be overwhelming as people go there for various reasons, I am happy I got the help I needed and would recommend

The place was great I was checked into a hospital and got voluntary admission by myself from the help of uniform officers to be able to seek mental health and treatment. The time was consuming and overwhelming but it was needed for the sake of a different environment. I for the first time and the last time really feel that mental health does matter and I will consider it from the time forward and onward.

The worst place to send patient then I hoping at all they don’t even know what medication they gave it to him and they release him before he got ready he come home the first night he ran out the street he tried to overdose his medication. Please do not send yours family there when I pick him up they couldn’t even give me summary of release. They kept me for 2 hours and they give me summary, but they say do not describe this medication is danger for your son what I’m supposed to do

Unable to find out when visitation hours are, after several attempts, the nurse transferred me to a phone that no one answered. I just need to know how and when I can visit my loved one. I then send an email which turned back because my email is not on their list of accepted emails.

Trying to push and reward employees for writing 5 star reviews. This place is a dump. Racist. Short staffed. Inexperienced. They hold people longer than needed. The staff like to try and intimidate the patients. This place is all about the money! Not to mention the staff goes through and steals your personal items. You will leave with nothing and nobody knows what happened. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! WP needs to be investigated and shutdown!

This place is ABSOLUTELY horrible. My sister was in there for a few days. My younger sister. She told me all about how terrible that place is and that they weren’t giving her her meds and they didn’t even give her her items that my mother and I sent there. No way to communicate. Nothing. Time comes that we come to get her release and they tried to keep her and tell her she couldn’t be released when she came voluntarily. Absolutely disgusting. Disgraceful. Unprofessional. Voluntarily checked in during a mental health crisis for severe depression secondary to combat PTSD on 11/27/2023. Admission staff were friendly and welcoming. Many of the staff are very kind but there are also many that are rude and somewhat mean to patients for no reason at all. Do not expect a nurse or tech to get up from their chair with any kind of urgency, patients needs are not the priority for them, they would rather chit chat amongst themselves than actually help a patient needing anything. The facility is poorly managed, Ice and water machines in the day rooms have not functioned in many months and not repair or replacement date in the near future, no meal options unless it’s specifically for a food allergy and then it’s just subtracting the allergen. No options to order food at the patients cost if wanted, the meals are subpar for even local jails. Separation of units are not publicly listed for patients and room assignments make no sense, they separate the housing into 3 separate wards, BHU100, BHU200, MHU300, unit 100 being mostly for quiet patients dealing with addition withdrawals and minor mental health disorders, unit 200 housed the more violent mental health patients and unit 300, where I was housed, held patients with severe mental disorders. I checked myself in after not being able to find a place with the VA to help with sever suicidal ideations and generally unwell due to severe depression and anxiety from combat PTSD and was placed in unit 300 whom had several patients that smeared their feces around their room, patients that were threatening to other patients and other severe delusions creating a feeling of danger for someone that wasn’t at the level of mental instability, I was later told by a social worker that I should not have ever been placed in that unit. Typically only techs are around for patients to request information from and often tell patients to ask a nurse when they come around, the nurses also redirect patients to the doctors but only the psychiatric staff have any knowledge of treatments, medications, or any other pertinent patient information such as discharge or plan involvement. They will not let voluntary admissions leave prior to a minimum 48hr stay regardless of the reason being the filthy state of the facility. Upon arrival and bed assignment I was led to the room and found that it the area around the bed and the bed itself had not been cleaned from the previous patient, the entire facility was filthy with dried liquids virtually coating the entire floor, bits of unknown human fluids dried and stuck to the walls everywhere, janitorial staff does not come through daily to clean up except for trash, they only really clean anything if a patient makes it a biohazard and then it’s not a true sanitization. This facility seems to cater to mostly patients that have been ordered to be there by law enforcement with only a very small amount of patients being voluntarily checked in. The staff were rude to my spouse when she called one female staff by the name of Kris, a middle aged white woman with blonde hair, even hung up on my spouse when all my spouse was trying to do was talk to me, keeping in mind that I had no restrictions placed as I was not threat to others and only needed help finding a reason not to end my life. I suffer from sever back pain caused by herniated discs and provided a verifiable list of prescriptions which virtually none were available and I did not receive a single dose of my pain medication Gabapentin during the 48 hours I was forced to endure there. To conclude, this facility is definitely not state of the art (maybe 20 years ago) is in a poor state of repair with failing plumbing and amenities, inadequate, rude, and unprofessional staff, substandard food offerings with little nutritional value, and most furniture in disrepair. This facility is more about making a profit than actually helping people in mental health crisis. In my opinion this place should be shutdown, at the very least a complete overhaul. NO VETERAN SHOULD EVER GO HERE

I wish I could give this place a zero star. This hospital is beyond horrible and unprofessional. Throughout the past two weeks, I’ve made countless attempts to contact the hospital to get information about a family member’s condition. However, most of my calls went unanswered, and when answered, the nurses refused to provide updates on their condition. After countless calls and voicemails, they still haven’t called me back! What is the point of telling reviewers to email the Patient Advocacy ...

What is the point of telling reviewers to email the Patient Advocacy Team when you guys ONLY accepts messages from people in your organization!? The lack of communication and transparency from this place is beyond me!
