Basically you get out of this place what you're willing to put into it. Mistakes happen and there are exceptions a d there is a pretty high turnover rate with counselors. that's because each counselor has such a high caseload due to the number of patients. I think I can say I with a pretty high degree of certainty that I would not still be alive if it was not for this place. So yeah, it can be frustrating at times, but I believe they're doing the best they can while trying to follow state an...

I was horrified to find out that Dr. Dark * told my mother and according to her- orher patients- that she shouldn't consider detoxing. That she had been there soo long and with her history and emotional issues he believed it would be best for her to continue treatment for life. That is pretty much saying to an emotionally fragile person, that i dont believe you are strong enough to overcome your addiction or your emotional issues. My mom said after talking with Dr. Dark* she reconsiderd comi...

By the grace of god!!, this place, and my willingness to WANT A BETTER LIFE!!!! The Nurses, and staff here go above and beyond to help us in every way possible these people on here that are making your snide comments, I must ask you one question if you’re SO TRULY DISSATISFIED With SITC, why do you Stay? You have other options they can only help you so much you have to want to help yourself, they are not your parents!!! This place paved the way along with GOD to give me the skills and knowled...

I have had 11 different therapist in the time I’ve been here. The mandatory group chat is a joke, and the rudeness of the clients is only surpassed by the rudeness of some of the nurses. I’m almost finished with them, as I am tapering off.I wish I would have just gone to a inpatient center. It would have been cheaper and less stressful.

I'm writing this on behalf of my mother who sadly got sick this past March and she passed away this April. Since her teen years she has dealt with the vice gripe of addiction. I've been reading the reviews and I can understand where other reviewers are coming from when they say that this place has flaws and it can do more to improve and help clients who really want to get clean and start new. Let me share my mom's story. This place was recommended to mom at a time when she was hitting rock...

They only care about money, they treat u like a number! They make u work hard to get take homes but they can take them away from u whenever they feel like it. Iv been clean for 2 years they took my take homes over a false positive made me wait weeks then when the results came back that it WAS a false positive they still didn’t give them back to me, they said oh u also tested positive for something else and we will have to have that tested as well so I’ll have to wait another 2 weeks. 2 of the...

Try the one in Louisville if you want a more personal feel and MUCH faster, shorter lines. This one feels like it is corporation-driven and they refuse to spend all the money (they obviously have) on improving things. The saddest thing: improvements like what I detailed happen all over the country. A new provider or director comes in and suddenly there are 10 extra dosing windows and an equal amount of new nurses. Look at New Season Treatment in Cantonment, Fl for a great success story. ...

The service here is absolutely terrible they treat everyone like junkies, very few people actually use this place to get clean they use it as a crutch and the few people that do use it to get clean are treated like dirt. I haven't met many nurses or councillors that actually want to help anyone get their lives back together, it's all about getting your money and keeping you coming back. I don't think any of the positive reviews here are by actual patients I truly believe they are posted by st...
