Mountain Vista Farms is an exceptional facility that has played a pivotal role in my sobriety journey. The staff members, including Nancy, Nikki, Colette, Ron, Earl, Chef Brian, and his Sous Chef have been instrumental in my recovery. Nancy, my counselor, provided invaluable guidance and support throughout my time at the facility. Ron, Collete, and Earl (favorite counselors) created a welcoming and nurturing environment that fostered personal growth and healing. The culinary team, led by Che...

The woman that did my intake assessment asked all of the intrusive questions in a very insensitive way and gave inappropriate and honestly kind of offensive responses. It blew my mind when she had to ask another person in the background what and how to do things. Is that not WILDLY unprofessional? Then she said she had to go talk to her boss about wether or not I would be accepted? Why am I not just speaking directly with whoever makes the decisions?? Who is this lady that knows a bunch of pe...

Really disappointed with the staff except Ron. They billed for more days than my son stayed there effectively kicked him out when he wanted and needed to stay because " he can't stay, we have other clients coming in." He attends the after meetings and his phone does not work there and so called and said not sure if he was waiting for me to pick him up and Terry said to me, he is not a client here anymore. Wow. Really very rude.

Mountain Vista Farm offers an excellent recovery program and detox support for those who need that. The counseling staff are very supportive and knowledgeable. The food is exceptional, healthy and abundant. The location in the countryside makes for a retreat like setting. Nice places to get some healthy exercise: walking track around the meadow, pool for laps (unheated), gym (basic and not new equipment) and a steep hill to climb and get some real cardio plus an amazing view of the Sonoma hil...

MVF saved my life. The staff and groups were excellent. Not to mention "Chef".

My son was in desperate need of rehab from alcohol. I read the reviews on MVF before admitting him and was a little skeptical because of some of the most negative reviews. We decided to try them anyway and I am so very happy we did. They are an incredible working team of professionals who do actually care. My son came home a different person who was educated and knowledgeable about his condition and has a much brighter outlook on his life now. He knows it’s not going to be easy and he knows ...

This facility is very good. Lisa, Craig, Alex, Ron, Nicki and Tommy are great, and most the other staff are too. There are two counselors who aren't good, but that's bound to be the case at any rehab treatment center. It's an old but historic facility in a lovely setting, with very small rooms. I brought a therapy dog with me for PTSD and they're supposed to put people with therapy dogs in "the Coop", whereupon you have a private room but they didn't give this to me for reasons that made n...

I just completed a 30 residential treatment and i would highly recommend this place. The counselors are very in tune with most being in recovery. Initially the cost seemed high but i feel like the education i received was invaluable. Food is very good and balanced and i am diabetic so they really worked with special food alternatives for me. couple of notes BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW and foam topper if you are used to sleeping on foam mattress. I believe they really are committed ! thank you
