I tried to stay as long as i possibly could for the patients because it was only a very few staff that actually cared for the patients. The nurses would be rude and ignore their patients 24/7 , Sleep throughout their whole shift. Would let the patients melt in their beds with feces all over them, Would starve patients that they did not like when it came down to lunch , dinner and snack. This place is just terrible. I would never send any of my family members here nor will i ever want to be pu...

This place along with its mostly unqualified and cruel staff is about the worst facility I've ever seen. From patient falls ( not being reported )to lack of consistency in giving meds to downright rude personnel, this place needs to be reevaluated for its continued existence. The Dietary routine is equally dismal. You won't get a real piece of fresh fruit or vegetable. . All food is Super processed and almost inedible. Some residents were still hungry only to find out STAFF had eaten the ...

My review is specifically for Cheryl, the case manager. She is excellent and deserves the review. My grandfather was in for a short 3 week stay and she was extremely helpful to me while he was there as well as his transition home. Setting up follow up appointments and his transition of care back home here. Thank you Cheryl for everything!

I appreciated the care and respect I received from the staff at Haven Behavioral. It is my first, and hopefully last visit. I arrived highly agitated, frustrated and worried that my sense of mental wellness would not return. Dr. Seara and his students were attentive to my needs-I felt like I was being listened to. Through a trial of different medications, we think we’ve found the right combo. The social workers at Haven are truly special people. Their group sessions were valuable and apprecia...

Excellent rotation in behavioral health as a physician assistant student. Dr. Seara is an excellent provider and preceptor. He truly cares for each of his patients. He takes ample time to talk with each of them and their families of their progress throughout their stay at Haven. The nursing staff and social workers showed the utmost kindness and patience to us students and all of the patients.

This is hell, not haven. Mismanagement of meds, no communication from doctors unless forced to do so, the doctor even went on court record stating that they are inconvenienced by family who care. They lost all clothing we brought and even tried to send our family member out without shoes - she went there with shoes but somehow they lost them and tried to send her out in her socks. So they gave her someone else’s shoes and now that person will be asked to leave in socks. The list of grievance...

My father was treated by Dr. Miguel Seara, whose care and knowledge made a world of difference for him. My father has Lewy Body Dementia and had been previously treated with medications that exacerbated his condition and contributed to his aggression and agitation. Dr. Seara is not only well-informed about the disease and its appropriate treatment regimens, but he is also a compassionate and caring practitioner. He took the time to explain my father’s disease to the family, explaining why his...

I have recently left Haven for personal reasons but my experience there was amazing. I grew so much as not only a nurse but as a person. The changes in the past few months in management has been the best for the continued growth of the facility. I could immediately see the changes to staff morale and culture. Dr. Seara as the medical director is very involved and diligently working to tap into the potential that Haven Philadelphia has. I thank Haven for my time there and wish them all the b...
